The 2016 conference features:
The conference theme, Transformation through Relationship: The Heart and Soul of Therapy, will draw together aspects of integrative, spiritual, and educational practice, transforming the relationship between therapist and client, teacher and student. The encounter of being a therapist or an educator is one of connectedness and deepening; a co-created process that is the heart and soul of therapy.
With so many people searching for meaningful ways to improve their mental health and wellbeing, spirituality and therapy both offer potential answers. The integration of spiritual values and approaches into therapy practice is an essential response to this spiritual searching. While the conference will have a particular focus on Christian approaches to therapy, spirituality in general will be explored through the lens of integrative practice.
Acceptance of different views and beliefs underpins the heart and soul of therapy, so whatever your spiritual beliefs, Transformation through Relationship will offer a supportive space to share and explore how we as therapists and educators offer the relationship as our field of practice - a way to help all involved to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
